AIR HANDLING UNITS
An air handling unit controls the supply and return air, using a fan section, vibration isolation, cooling/heating coils, filters and mixed outside air duct, and is contained in a corrosion resistant housing. JEM installs stock and custom air handling units for ventilation systems & critical applications in medical, pharmaceutical, engineering & food product industries.
CHILLERS
JEM uses high efficiency, low impact refrigerants in our name brand stock and custom-built chillers.
Using vapor-compression or absorption refrigeration and circulating through a heat exchanger, a chiller cools equipment, air or process water. The waste heat is exhausted to ambient, or for greater efficiency, recovered for heating purposes.
Chilled water is used to cool and dehumidify air in commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities. Water chillers can be water-cooled, air-cooled, or evaporatively cooled. Water-cooled systems can provide efficiency and environmental impact advantages over air-cooled systems.
CONTROLS
HVAC equipment needs a control system to regulate the operation of a heating and/or air conditioning system. Controls can vary from a simple programmable thermostat to an intricate energy management system with online monitoring.
